Avanti Football Academy has one goal in mind: giving our players the best, most rewarding learning expereince.
We strive in developing young footballers to reach their full potential.
We provide a safe and fun environment for our players to learn and grow.
All our coaches are experienced and knowledgeable in the game of football and are dedicated in helping our players reach their goals. We offer an elite program to help our players improve their technical and tactical abilities, as well as their physical and mental strength. This allows all players the chance to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience.
We also provide our players with the opportunity to be scouted by Local and National NPL Clubs, and International Clubs through our Coaching networks.
We believe in assisting our players to become the best they can be and to help them reach their goals and dreams.

Roko Strika

Meet our co-founder, Roko.
A distinguished ex-professional footballer turned coach, who’s experiences both on and off the field serves compass, guiding aspiring talents to improve their understanding of the game. Roko spent a number of years in Europe playing with a tier 1 football academy and sharing the change rooms with a number of World Cup Silver Medalists.
His career steeped in victories and challenges, bringing a unique blend of strategic insight and mentorship to the coaching arena. His expertise forged through years of dedication and hard work promises to inspire the next generation of football stars.
Roko has spent the last 7 years working with players within the Canberra Region as his desire and coaching philosophy extends beyond local triumphs, aiming to shape players and prepare them for overseas football.
Roko continues to play as a senior player in the National Premier League Competition. Where he was recently named NPL Men’s Player of the Year for the 2023 season. Even at the back end of his playing career, he still manages to showcase his creativity and excellence, entertaining the Canberra football community.
Vince Cosentini

Managing Director
Vince brings a wealth of experience to Avanti Football Academy in the field of Performance Health.
He is currently and has been over the past 6 years the Lead Massage Therapist with the Socceroos and prior to that had worked for 13 years at the AIS, seven of those years in the Australian U17 Mens Football program (Joeys).

Vince is a former footballer in Canberra playing first grade and is well versed on what is required for players to recover to be able to perform at their peak.
